The final approved version of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) for Nottinghamshire and Nottingham has been published today.

All the information you need to look at is on our LNRS website – www.nottsnaturerecovery.co.uk

Here you will be able to view and download the written Statement of Biodiversity Priorities and other associated documenta.

A shorter summary document has been produced, and I have attached it here for your information.

You can view the online Local Habitat Map which shows the important areas for nature recovery in the county. There is a written user guide and a short video to explain how to click on and off the different mapping layers.

We have produced User Guides for some specific sectors as follows:

  • Residents, Volunteers and Community Groups
  • Farmers and Land Managers
  • Planners and Developers

The website also sets out answers to a list of FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) to provide background information on the LNRS process as well as examples of existing Nature Recovery Projects in the county.

If you would like any further information or have any queries, please contact the LNRS team by email: [email protected]
