A few months ago, Farnsfield Parish Council received a £15,000 payment from the operator of the solar farm at Crifton Lodge. The terms of this payment are that it must be used for charitable, educational, environmental, amenity or other appropriate purposes within our area, especially including towards the promotion of sustainable energy and users. The money must not be used for political, religious, entertainment or hospitality purposes.

Accordingly, the Council is now seeking bids from the community to receive a grant funded from that £15,000 pot. The closing date for bids is Friday 17 April. If you might wish to make a bid, please contact the Parish Clerk at [email protected] for an initial discussion.
